Our customers required more space for their growing family. The conservatory to the rear of the house was dated and our customer believed the space could have been put to better use. Our customers managed to sell their conservatory before our work began giving them a small amount of money towards to project.

The project included remodeling the entire ground level of the house and a new kitchen. The project was challenging, but our team of skilled professionals was able to deliver the project on time and within budget.
Challenge One: Narrow Access
Laying the right foundations
The first challenge we faced was digging the foundations on which the house extension would sit. Narrow access to the property made access by a digger difficult.
To get around this issue we strengthened the neighbor's wall to prevent it from shifting as we drove a micro digger down the side of the two houses.
Our team worked closely with the neighbors to ensure there was minimal disruption to their daily lives during the construction process.
Challenge Two: Change in Building Regulations
The second challenge we faced was due to a change in building regulations to home insulation. The original 100mm cavity full fill insulation which was specified for the build was no longer suitable. To bring the build inline with current building regulations, all exterior walls were fitted with a 25mm insulated plaster board. This change meant that the insulation was more effective and energy-efficient, which helped the homeowners save on their energy bills.
The Result
Despite these challenges, we were able to deliver a high-quality extension that exceeded the client's expectations.
The new kitchen was modern and spacious, and the entire ground level of the house was transformed into a more functional and comfortable living space.
Our painting and decorating team handed over the project fully decorated to a superb quality using paint colour matched to a farrow and ball paint, saving them a lot of money while also looking brilliant.
